Bubbles, blankets and loud music filled the housing lawn at the Boca campus last week at Hootfest 2008. There was a performance list of up-and-coming artists, as well as artists signed to FAU's own record label, Hoot/Wisdom Recordings.
Hootfest is an event that began in 2006 to introduce bands from the record label to the student population.

Tabitha Diaz was sitting on her bed talking to a friend earlier this month when a sorority sister texted her: "Hey, have you seen the gossip site JuicyCampus.com?"

Students who live in NSU's Leo Goodwin Sr. Residence Hall, built in August of 1992, seem to have an overall concern regarding mold and dust in the rooms. Mold is a serious health hazard that most college students give very little attention to. When left untreated, mold and dust can cause symptoms such as itchy eyes, nose bleeds, continuing sinus problems, asthma, chronic fatigue, headaches, memory issues, a runny nose and even skin rashes or sores, according to The Center for School Mold Help.

FAU police identified the body found dead Tuesday afternoon in a campus apartment as former student Kyle Ramstrum.
